44.... such a distant goal.....

But I agree the eighties had a certain feel, and such a mix from the leftovers of punk that there was music for anyone. I chose the electronic road.
Retrospectively though there was such a great mix of genres that I can now appreciate them fully and dedicate the time and the patience to seek them out and listen to what i missed first time around. Its unfortunate that music has turned into the machine that it is now, but there are still some genuine class acts filtering through, and I don't think I'll ever be too old to enjoy any of it!!

Sad thing though, is most "modern" stuff is manufactured, boy/girl "bands" who can't sing, let alone play instruments; and nearly every record released sounds similar to something someone else has done. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn!

No wonder the 80s Revivals are doing so well!!!
