I can change a plug and deal with fuse boards quite well.

Helps that my Dad's a sparky, and taught me at a very young age - well, OK, not very but I was nine or ten.....

Thanks Dad!

I'm not very confident with electrics. You may have noticed my new header "don't touch me or I may explode"....
Well, I was trying to cook for Neil a few weeks ago and my kettle blew up with a loud bang , shorted all the sockets in my kitchen, utility room and bedroom.

First reaction - fall about laughing.

Second reaction - get takeaway (Neil's idea, for which I was very grateful!).

Third reaction - next morning "oh S**t", when I realised my freezer was on that circuit...

Had to be brave and reset the trip switch - nothing else bad happened.

Onwards and upwards...

Sounds like fun Sandra! You must be full of volts or something!

Takeaway often works well in those kind of instances - but you should have got Neil to reset the trip!!!!

When you are alone you don"t take the time for a selfmade meal.
I had that too when i was single
