I now know what a brass monkey feels like ... brrrrr!

forecast for tonight between 6" and 8" worth, although, if a man generated the weather forecast that probably means 1" to 2"

Been the coldest for 30 years up here in Sunny Manchester. Woodford just down the road from us officially the coldest spot in the Country on Wednesday night last week - a whopping -17 degrees Celcius! I thought the website may be inaccurate until I returned from my aborted attempt to get to work the next day to find the garden still at -12 degrees at 9am Thursday morning...

Finally go to work to be sent home with frozen water pipes...

Hoping all will be up and running tomorrow! Schools are back in anyway.

I've had weather like this in Norfolk, but never up here and certainly not for so long!!

Onwards and upwards...
