Rob Finighan was at Aintree to film extra footage for the OMD documentary, Souvenir.  (WHICH GOES ON PRESALE TOMORROW, WHEEEEE!!! - but I digress).  According to his myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/omdthemovie), he was only allowed on stage to film the crowd.

However, according to the thread on the Official Forum that I referenced before, additional cameras were observed elsewhere filming other things.  PauB hinted that there would be Aintree footage in the "Live" DVD (which is different from the Rob's documentary - DID I MENTION IT GOES ON PRESALE TOMORROW?).

If, like Corky suggests, Aintree footage will be spliced into the May 19 show, I'm glad the band wore the same outfits every show.  It should make for almost seamless segues (I hope, but you know I'll be looking for inconsistencies anyway -  ).

Looks like a release date of November 5, as reported on OMD-OS:

This is very odd.  The link now leads to the following mysterious verbiage:
Quoted Text
LIVE - ARCHITECTURE & MORALITY & MORE

For the first time ever on DVD this programme will feature the twelve complete races in their entirety with paddock shots and interviews with the winning connections wherever possible. Featuring original commentaries from the BBC this programme relives the romance and emotion from the greatest Grand Nationals run over the last 45 years of the televised race. With narration from the legendary Sir Peter O’Sullevan this incredible programme is steeped in horseracing nostalgia.

I'm thorougly confused.    I didn't know OMD ran in the Grand Nationals!
