Dear friends,I have the results of my MRI........
I keep you all a bit waiting.........
Well the news was not expect, but I have a indirect Hernia. That means that this Hernia came very slowly into my back.
I had two choices. The first one was.Doing nothing the nerve will shrivel up,but that can take a very long time or option 2
a operation. the chance that the operation will be succesfull is 70 /80 % and that the Hernia is coming back was 10 to 15 %.After taking about it what we should do,we choose for a operation.
I think it will be next year, because the list is very long and urgent cases go before me.
If anybody had questions,just ask.

Good news that it isn't urgent.

How long is "a long time"?

You must be relieved in a way. It is an everyday thing for docs to deal with, obviously not for you though. Personally, I think you are right in opting for the op. Had the same choice for my back op - glad I went through with it. All the best.

I'm glad to hear that you've found out what was causing your problem and it can be treated.  Going for the op is the best way forward imho.  Hopefully you will get a slot sooner than you think.  Keep your chin up

Thanks all of you for you lovely messages.
Today I had a call of my mum.She told me,that my dad feels so sorry that I had a hernia and I had to be operated.
27 years ago my dad had a Hernia.HE had to lay down in bed for weeks, while someone(my parents were divorsed at that time)look after me and take care of me..After that he never had any problems.
So he feels very bad that I had it too.
