So strange that When tomorrow comes (my least favourite one of the list) is a huge favourite here.
That's when a poll makes me think: let's give that song another try ... maybe I put on the wrong ears before ...

I still have to BUY those three albums (not SELL).

About the RCA released box: No Touch dance, but no 1984 either (a Virgin album).
That's such a shame ... the Sexcrime single isn't even on their latest greatest hits: naughty record companies!!!

Thanks for the replies so far ...

Love Is A Stranger.  It's cool and creepy at the same time.

Ooh, I forgot to mention that I went for Here comes the Rain again.
Sweert Dreams is their best track in my opinion, but Here comes the Rain again has a lot of yummy synth strings.

I loved those mid 80s singles with this kind of string arrangements.
Listen to Wishful Thinking by China Crisis or Sounds like a Melody by Alphaville ... as 80s as can be.
Or The unforgettable Fire by U2 and ofcourse the real strings on ABC's All of my Heart.
And one of my all time favourites in this category: Thank you, a completely overlooked gem by the Pale Fountains.

Now you know why I'm such a fan of La Femme accident too ... an underestimated OMD single.

Having had a chance to listen to several of these tracks this afternoon, I would like to change my choice in the poll to Love is a Stranger.

When Tomorrow Comes - A very close runner up. I did buy this as a 7" single and is still in my collection.
The intro to SWEET DREAMS is an unmistakeable classic, but I soon lost interest in the track.
Thorn in my Side is another great song, but brings back memories I would rather forget.

Nigel ?  Oh yeah, he's up there !

Miracle of love was my choice, always loved it, beautiful lyrics, and wonderfully sung.

I picked ''Here comes the rain again''. Also I liked what they did as The Tourists - their cover of 'I only want to be with you' and the later singles 'Dont say I told you so' and 'so good to be back home.

That was a tough one, went with Here Comes The Rain Again as I love the strings and I just think it's an incredibly haunting song.

It would have been followed by any of Sweet Dreams, Love Is A Stranger, Sex Crime, Shame and Beethoven.  Which reminds me, where were they on your poll?
