"The hard part's done," according to my dentist. One more visit to seal everything up.
Strange thing though, before we started I had the assistant pop Instead into the 5-CD changer.
"Can I listen to my CD Instead?"
"OK." The conversation wasn't as fun as it could have been.
When the dentist came in he said, "What's this?" and popped out the tray. I explained what it was, and when he pushed the tray back in, Instead wouldn't play. Not at all. He flipped back to it a couple of times, but nothing doing. So for the whole 1+ hour procedure, instead of the dulcid tones of Claudia Brucken, I was treated to a genre I can only described as A Lot of Wailing in Spanish. Something a dentist would like, I guess.
Once the procedure was over, the assistant came back in and said, "What happened to your CD?" She opened the tray and closed it again, and it started playing.
I guess Onetwo doesn't like the dentist very much!
I consoled myself by playing it in my car.
