So we will just be left the the mobile phone vids from Chavs and Boy Racers

I think the music industry will lose out in the long run. I use Youtube to listen to new songs which catch my attention, to decide whether it will be worthwhile to purchase a particular album or not. I am sure that I am not the only one that does this.

Having just read the news article, It is not the music industry that is causing this, It is GOOGLE (New owners of youtube). Google are unwilling to pay the licence fee to allow these video's to be shown. They want to pay a lot less than the prices Youtube are currently paying.

Why now? Just as I have got the knack on how to do it! I do have a look aswell, to see if something is worth buying. I have bought a few cds on the strength of a video clip on there. Oh well, there loss. They will lose lots of viewers.

I never really "got the hang" of sitting at my PC listening to any music. It's not enjoyable to me. I miss the days of sitting by an open fire with my feet up and my favourite albums playing on my JVC.
