The beta (version ) for Internet Explorer 8 is now available.

As with any Beta, install a your own risk, though it should work fine.

New MSN toolbar using Silverlight out soon too. The Mix08 is bringing a lot of goodies to the public eye

It could be that its the beta SP. It just tells me politely that the version of Vista I have is unsupported.

Same old story. Should be OK once I reinstall at the weekend.

IE8 regularly crashes when I browse this site, seems OK elsewhere. Anybody else had this?

No, its been fine here Dave. I have uninstalled it for now though, as I think it has a few issues with som e sites. But I won't know for a few days. Then I may reinstall it.

I alo got in the test for the Silverlight version of MSN Toolbar. Looks nice, and works OK but i have a thing about toolbars, and have taken it off again now.
