Dear friends,

again I'm sad.
The dog of my mom didn't eat for several days. There was something wrong with him.
So she went to the docter and get some injections,so he can eat.
Today an echo was planned,to see what is wrong. They had to go inside the dog,so he will get the narcose.......
Unfortunately he stayed into the narcose and died.
The dog was my best friend. When my parents go on a holiday he stayed at us.
This is the 3 time I loose someone.
In may we go to the funeral of a mother of my best friend,7 days later our rabbit Pluisje and now Poetsy.........We hope that Stan's sister, who'd also had cancer stayed alive 'till next year. But that is not sure.so maybe we have a funerall again.(she's very tired and had diabetics after the last chemo)

Sorry to hear about your doggie friend.

Passing the life and times back and forth
Across the table with you, my ideal friend.

Mariska, hope you & family are ok.

I felt I had to tell you of my cousin Michael. (age 36). I dont like sharing personal info but here goes

his mum Barbera is my dads younger sister

Michaels  sister passed away aged 18 after having leukemia. he was 21.
3 years previous his dad had passed over from a blood clot

It was a few years later and our Nan died, then great aunt Bella and shortly after that Uncle Jimmy.
Nan lived in his home and aunt & uncle lived a few doors away.
Before he was 28 his close Aunt Bren (older sister to my Dad) died from an embolism in the brain.
within in a few months his mum had a heart attack, she never came out of hospital.

Within a year Michael lost the house he grew up in. he was very depressed. It was re-possesed by the bank. he then seemed to vanish from our lives.

2 years ago contact was made by him.
he has a partner and young daughter of his own. he lives and works in Spain
he said 'he felt as if God had deserted him back then. he left because close family around him seemed cursed to die.
Although he now recognises all those deaths were not connected he is saddened that those relations were no longer in his life.
he greatly appreciates what he now has in life and makes the most of the time he has.
he said 'he'd felt deep pain but now could relish great joy.

Hey Dave, that is a truly sad story

It does show that time does help though.... glad Michael has been blessed with his own little family.
