Well, what a weekend that was!!! We decided to make a bit of a weekend out of it, and booked in to a hotel which was part of Parr St Studios.. and what a hotel, one of the most funky ones that I have stayed at for a good number of years!!
Will post up more on it, and my connections later... But for now, if you want to have a listen to most of the songs from last night, take a look at http://www.motionandheart.co.uk/fanmedia
I will get some video up also, and think I will Youtube em first
What a fantastic night, loved it from start to finish. Really surprised that Stanlow wasn't played, considering it was the catalyst for the whole Energy Suite idea (my son was really looking forward to that too). But nonetheless, he loved the night, singing and dancing away to the tunes he knew. (He knew Enola Gay before anyone in the audience I think, smartarse ! )
My only regret for the night, was not managing to meet, greet and share a few drinks with everyone from the forums. I finally managed to meet a few that I had not met before (Paula, Steph,Wolfgang, Bea, Neal, Helen, and several others) and had a great time. But unfortunately, I was unable to gain entry into The Philharmonic pub for the BIG get-together
Well, next time, I hope to meet many more fans.
Anyway, REALLY looking forward to the DVD release later in the year.
I wish, i was there... *sigh* Have spent almost all day listening to the songs&watching the vids here and on YouTube. Big, big Thank You to You, Neil, and to others for posting them. That really was a grand, splendid, fabulous concert. Especially All That Glitters touched me. (The song, what made me as an OMD fan, and i didn't hear it live... )
How many times have feelings vanished in your head? How many times must they be lost before they're said?
Hi,I must get to these meet ups earlier I didnt really have time to talk to anyone again(Aintree by the time I got to the pub everyone had gone in).I liked the show wasnt sure what to expect, but also didnt want to miss it.My girlfriend liked it too and shes not an OMD fan.I stayed at the albert dock holiday inn,I got up in the morning thinking I could eat 3 bacon butties what did i get a continental buffet doh.On sunday we went under the mersey tunnel to see the U-boat exhibition.
I'm very close to far away... The More I See You Dont touch me.. I may blow up

Still recovering from last weekend, but yes - absolutely top from start to finsh
I still can't believe I got to hear Femme Accident live
Mark good to see you again; Nigel so sorry you got left in the cold at the pub; Maxine so sorry you could not join us this time; Nella great to see you again, and so many others!
Corky I loved your Facebook comment about Neil's dancing - had me roaring! lol (at least he didn't get strangled this time... )
Parr St I would highly recommend. The only mystery was that the bar manager looked so familiar and yet we had not met? In the bar at Parr St after the concert, I was followed to the toilet by part of Ladytron! lol
What great clips - so excited that they did Native Daughters! And a DVD too? Can't beat that with a stick . . .
Couldn't watch all the clips now but will do so later. . .
Thanks Neil . . . so glad everyone had a good time!

It must have been spectacular to witness in person.
Andy looks in fine shape. I think he's lost weight - ?

Neil, some bad news about Parr St Studios this weekend. Unfortunately theres been a huge number of 'deliberate' fires over the last 2 weeks, including nearly 20 pubs, 3 tyre yards (mostly this week) and this one (started in the Disused Greek Restaurant next door).

Please don't worry!!! STUDIO2 is alive and kicking and fully open for business. On top of that Parr Street Studios is doing well. Plus, Pete and Peasy's RECORDING STUDIO (Studio 1) is doing well and open for business and our new tenants in Studio 3 are also open for business.
Despite local reports over the last few days Parr Street Recording Studios has NOT burnt down and we have not been taken over! In fact, Parr Street Studios has increased turnover in 2008 by 20% over the same period in 2007. Thanks to our wonderful customers and great staff we are growing beyond our wildest dreams.
On top of that we have taken on 3 new lovely tenants and our HOTEL is going from strength to strength.
DON'T FORGET our weekly JAZZ night is still on every Tuesday from 8pm and you can join us for BREAKFAST every morning until 12 noon. Our PRIVATE DINING is attracting loads of interest and bookings for our FUNCTION/EVENT SPACE has increased by 800%. Not bad for one of the UK's TOP 50 Bars and ESQUIRE Magazines Bar of the Month - after only 6 months of STUDIO2 being open. Thanks to you all x
